Terms of Service

Who can use TalkStride

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you use TalkStride on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to let us know if you suspect unauthorized use. You may close your account at any time.

Your content

You keep ownership of the recordings, transcripts, and other content you create with TalkStride ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content only to operate the Service for you, for example to transcribe your audio, analyze your delivery, and generate your feedback, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for what you record and confirm you have the right to record it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive.
• Upload content that infringes others' rights or that you have no right to record or share.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Resell or misuse the Service or its feedback in ways these Terms do not allow.

Subscriptions and billing

• TalkStride offers a free daily rep and an optional paid subscription with additional features. Current prices are shown on the pricing page before you buy.
• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on each renewal.
• You can cancel anytime. Your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again after cancellation.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will look into it.
• Prices may change. We will give notice of changes before they apply to your next renewal.

Creator program

If you take part in our creator or referral program, additional terms apply, including how referral credit and payouts are calculated and paid. Payouts are made through our payment processor once you complete the required onboarding. We may change or end the program at any time.

Feedback is not professional advice

TalkStride provides automated practice and feedback to help you improve your speaking. It is a coaching aid, not professional, career, medical, or legal advice, and it does not guarantee any particular outcome in an interview, audition, or other real-world setting.

Service availability

We work to keep TalkStride running well, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we do not promise the Service will always be uninterrupted or error free.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TalkStride disclaims all warranties not expressly stated here. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TalkStride and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars.

Termination

You may stop using TalkStride and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm others or us. On termination, the sections that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of TalkStride after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
